The Amazing Race to Recovery is Second Chance Opportunities’ (SCO) annual fundraiser, and this year, we need your help to sustain and expand the essential services that make recovery possible for so many. In 2024, with the support of our community, we made a profound impact:

406 individuals worked with our recovery coaches to navigate their journey toward stability.
89 individuals secured meaningful employment with our support.
We hosted 243 groups and sober activities, attended by over 2,462 participants.
Welcomed 1,787 walk-ins to our recovery community center for additional support and guidance.
Our transportation program provided 2,566 rides, covering 43,875 miles, ensuring access to treatment, employment, and essential services.
Our housing programs supported 83 individuals, achieving a 97% success rate, helping 30 people move into stable living environments, with 21 individuals successfully transitioning out while remaining committed to recovery.

These services are vital to fostering stability, independence, and hope for individuals in recovery and their families. But we can’t do it alone. Your support will directly fund the recovery coaching, housing assistance, transportation, and community programs that so many rely on to rebuild their lives.
